Christina Emery volunteers at CHH Golf Classic

Executive Director Christina Emery was one of many volunteers who helped run the annual Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Golf Classic earlier this month. She is seen with Alec Ballard, who is the Behavioral Health Business Unit Manager at Hartford HealthCare. The June 2 fundraising event held at Torrington Country Club generated a record $300,000 for the hospital’s new Palliative Care Program. The program assists patients at any age and stage of illness, complementing curative treatments and helping patients navigate chronic conditions like cancer, dementia, COPD, stroke and kidney or liver failure. Christina is a member of the Hartford HealthCare, Northwest Region Board of Directors.
