As the 2024 recipient of the Litchfield Area Business Association (LABA) non-profit award, Brooker Memorial was invited to present the 2025 non-profit award. Executive Director Christina Emery presented the award Tuesday, Jan. 21 at the LABA Area Business Awards dinner at the Litchfield Inn.
“I’m happy to share with you some progress over the last year at Brooker,” Christina told the crowd representing businesses, nonprofits and those in the “Eat.Play.Stay.Stop.” category “We completed our second floor building expansion project. At our pediatric dental clinic, we’re able to serve more local children in need of this essential form of health care by expanding our pool of dentists.”
She invited everyone interested in learning more about Brooker Memorial to contact her and she’s happy to show them around the facility.
This year’s nonprofit nominees were Litchfield Community Center, the United Way, Susan B. Anthony Project, the Possum Queen Foundation, Friends of Topsmead and Litchfield Health and Wellness. The winner was Litchfield Community Center.
