Mckenzie has joined Brooker as a float teacher. She’s excited to be a part of the Child Care team here. Her love for working with children started when she got her first paraprofessional job. She worked with children with special needs and said she fell in love with this field of work. “Working with children, especially those with special needs has taught me many life lessons,” she said. Mckenzie said she’s learned to overcome obstacles and how to be patient while working with children, because no child is the same. When she had her daughter, she said her love for children just got bigger. “Working with children helped me to be the best mother I can be and being a mother has made me a better teacher,” Mckenzie said.
