June 2026 – After 15 years of caring for young learners at Brooker Memorial, Miss Tammy retired this month, marking the end of an incredible 44-year career in early childhood education. Brooker celebrated her years of dedication with a retirement gathering on June 15, bringing together current and former teachers, students, staff, and board members. The room was filled with purple, her favorite color, as friends and colleagues shared memories of the many children whose lives she touched. Her warmth, creativity, and commitment to helping children learn and grow have left a lasting impact on generations of Brooker families.
