June 2026 – In recent months Brooker Memorial began offering dental services to preschool students at EdAdvance’s Head Start in Torrington.
During the past several weeks, 15 children in the preschool program received exams by Residents from the UConn School of Dental Medicine, under the guidance of Dr. Moises Salas, and 17 received dental cleanings. During the exams, the Head Start children were introduced to the equipment used, had their teeth counted, each child’s bite was examined and any decay/cavities were noted.
